This series has been twenty years in the making! The idea initially came to me whilst an undergraduate at Lancaster University, studying Visual Arts, and three of these images featured in my Degree Exhibition. I enjoyed creating them so much I went on to photograph nine more images over the course of the following year, to give me a full set. Then a career as a primary school teacher meant that the negatives gathered dust for the next 20 years! Finally I have been able to print and work on them, bringing back some fond memories in the process.
The full series will form part of my next exhibition, which will be at the Green Man Gallery in Buxton. It will run from the end of October until the end of November. All the images will be for sale during the exhibition.
